u
Gigaset M105data (requires 1 free USB port on the PC)
u
Gigaset M101data (requires 1 free COM port on the PC)
u
Notes on operation
Only one data box can set up an active connection to the base station at a time. If
u
you want to access the base station from a second data box on a different PC, you
will have to deactivate the wireless mode with the connection wizard.
In wireless mode with the Gigaset data boxes, the channel bundling and loopback
u
test are not available. These functions can only be used with a USB direct connec-
tion.
Before you can use the registration wizard for the data box or update the data box
u
firmware, you have to deactivate wireless mode with the connection wizard.
If the Gigaset data box is not found automatically, check and if necessary correct the
u
settings of the virtual COM port.
Wireless devices from other manufacturers
You can register and operate various wireless devices from your base station: If you have
devices from a different manufacturer that you want to register with the base station,
please note the following information.

the following two standards:

multi-media data between a base station and up to 8 end devices.
– GAP (Generic Access Profile)
Standard enabling the combined use of DECT products from different vendors.

only the following Bluetooth profiles:
