Description
Wireless data transmission
Bluetooth permits wireless transmission of voice and multi-
media data over a range of a few meters. The range of the
connection depending on the technical features of the con-
nected device. 1 mobile telephone, 3 PCs or PDAs and
1 headset can be used at the same time on one base station.
(Only available for Gigaset SX3x3isdn.)
Protection against diallers
The dialler blocker monitors all outgoing telephone calls and
fax connections that your PC sets up via the base station.
The default setting permits connections to all telephone
numbers. Change this setting to block all connections from
the PC or to release individual service numbers (e.g. your
Internet provider).
Replaces the pre-recorded announcements
The answering machine in your base station has pre-
recorded announcements (e.g. announcing the date and
time) in the language of your country. These pre-recorded
announcements can be changed easily.
