Configuring ISDN features

ì
Double-click Configuration in Folder List.
This displays the dialogues available.
ì
Click ISDN settings.
You will now see the ISDN settings tab.
ì
Define which ISDN features you want to use with your base station.
– Select the Reject all option to activate the rejecting of an incoming call for all
devices with the same Receive MSN.
– Activate the MSN busy (busy-on-busy) option to permit only one call per Receive
MSN at the same time. A second call to an already connected Receive MSN will be
rejected with the busy tone.
– Activate the Withhold no. option to suppress the transmitting of your own tele-
phone number (Send MSN) for all MSNs.
– Activate the Transfer (ECT) option so that you can pass your call to a second
caller to a caller held in the PABX. The PABX then connects the two callers and
cuts your own connection.
You can only use this feature if your base station is operated behind a PABX.
– Activate the call bumping (incoming call despite channel bundling) option to
reserve and, if necessary release, a B-channel for incoming external calls.
An incoming external call stops channel bundling if the call bumping
i
(incoming call despite channel bundling) option is active.
After the call, channel bundling has to be restarted manually.
– Enter any telephone number as Call deflection so that it is used as the default
for all redirected calls.
