Possible problems during installation

In rare cases a program called by the talk&surf wizard may no longer react:

Close the talk&surf wizard and the program and try again.
If the USB driver cannot be found even though it has been set properly:
ì
Disconnect the USB connection.
ì
Restart your PC.
ì
Reconnect the USB connection.
ì
Restart the talk&surf wizard.

Updating firmware

Normally you will only have to update the firmware if you want to operate talk&surf
with older base stations.
Update the firmware only if your devices are not working properly.

A firmware update will not remedy any hardware faults in the device.
You can update the firmware only via the USB connection.

Close all running programs.
ì
Make sure your base station is in the idle state.
ì
Select Start > Programs > Gigaset.
ì
Click Firmware Update.
ì
Follow the instructions of the firmware update tool.
