Use the set dot1x supp-timeout command, followed by a time period in seconds (1
to 65535), to set the authenticator-to-supplicant retransmission timeout period (the time for
the G250/G350 to wait for a reply from the Authenticated Station) for all ports on which
802.1x is enabled.
Use the set port dot1x supp-timeout command, followed by the module and port
number (or range of ports) and a time period in seconds (0 to 65535), to set the
authenticator-to-supplicant retransmission timeout period (the time for the G250/G350 to
wait for a reply from the Authenticated Station) for a specific port or ports.
Use the set dot1x max-req command, followed by a number from 1 to 10, to set the
maximum number of times the port tries to retransmit requests to the Authenticated Station
before the session is terminated for all ports on which 802.1x is enabled.
Use the set port dot1x max-req command, followed by the module and port number
(or range of ports) and a number from 1 to 10, to set the maximum number of times the
port tries to retransmit requests to the Authenticated Station before the session is
terminated for a specific port or ports.
Use the set port dot1x server-timeout command, followed by the module and
port number (or range of ports) and a time period in seconds (1 to 65535) to set the server
timeout (the time to wait for a reply from the Authentication Server) per port.

Displaying 802.1x parameters

You can use the following commands to display 802.1x parameters:
Use the show dot1x command to display the system 802.1x parameters, including
whether 802.1x is enabled or disabled on the G250/G350.
Use the show port dot1x command to display all the configurable values associated
with the authenticator port access entity (PAE) and backend authenticator. To display
values for a particular port, type the module and port numbers after the command. If you
do not enter a module and port number, the command displays values for all ports on
which 802.1x can be configured. For example:
