Setting up the
remote to control
your TV
You can set up the supplied remote to control
your TV. Here's how to set it up.
1 Switch on your TV.
2 Find the name of the manufac-
turer of your TV in the table on
page 40.
Next to each manufacturer is one or more
three digit codes. These tell the remote what
kind of TV you have.
• If the name of the manufacturer of your
TV does not appear in the table, you won't
be able to set up this remote to control
your TV.
3 Point the remote at your TV, hold
down the CLEAR button, then
enter the three digit code for
your TV.
The remote transmits an on/off signal to the
TV. If you've entered the correct code, your TV
should switch off.
If your TV doesn't turn off, repeat the
procedure using the next code in the list until
your TV switches off successfully.
Using this remote with
your TV
In order to control your TV with this remote,
first slide the switch at the bottom of the
remote from to
SYSTEM
to control the DVD cassette deck
SYSTEM
receiver.

control starting on page 28.

Vous pouvez configurer la télécommande
fournie de manière à contrôler votre
téléviseur. Voici la façon de la configurer.
1 Mettez votre téléviseur en marche.
2 Recherchez le nom du fabricant
de votre téléviseur dans le tableau
situé à la page 40.
A côté du nom de chaque fabricant, vous
trouverez des codes à trois chiffres. Ils
indiquent à la télécommande le type de
téléviseur que vous possédez.
• Si le nom de votre fabricant n'apparaît
3 Dirigez la télécommande vers
votre téléviseur, maintenez la
touche CLEAR enfoncée, puis
entrez le code à trois chiffres de
votre téléviseur.
La télécommande transmet un signal on/off
au téléviseur. Si vous avez saisi le bon code
votre téléviseur s'éteint.
Si votre poste ne s'éteint pas, recommencez la
procédure en utilisant le code suivant jusqu'à
ce que votre téléviseur s'éteigne.

Pour pouvoir contrôler votre téléviseur, faites
glisser le bouton de la télécommande de la
