Balancing the surround
sound
You can further improve surround sound
performance by balancing the levels from the
subwoofer, center and surround speakers
relative to the front left/right speakers. To
help you judge the sound level of each
speaker a test tone is played through each
speaker in turn. Adjust the levels until they
all sound equal.
1 Press DOLBY/DTS to switch
surround on.
2 Press TEST TONE (SHIFT &
CH SELECT) to start the test
tone.
The test tone plays through each speaker in
turn:
• Front left (FL)
• Center (CT)
• Front right (FR)
• Surround right (SR)
• Surround left (SL)
• Subwoofer (if connected) (SW)
3 Use the JOG + and JOG – buttons
to adjust the level of a speaker as
the test tone plays.
For best results, sit in your main listening
position when doing this. You can adjust
each speaker in the range of +/–10 dB.
4 When you're done, press TEST
TONE to turn off the test tone.
Note: You can also adjust the channel
levels without the test tone. In step 2, select
the speaker you want to adjust by pressing
repeatedly. Adjust the level using
CH SELECT
the + and – buttons.

Vous pouvez améliorer la performance du
son surround en équilibrant les niveaux du
subwoofer, de l'enceinte centrale et surround
en fonction des enceintes avant droite/
gauche. Pour vous aider déterminer le niveau
du son, chaque enceinte effectue un test de
tonalité. Réglez les niveaux jusqu'à obtention
d'un son équilibré.
1 Appuyez sur DOLBY/DTS pour
passer activer surround.
2 Appuyez sur TEST TONE (SHIFT
& CH SELECT) pour démarrer le
test de tonalité.
Chaque enceinte effectue le test de tonalité:
• Avant gauche (FL)
• Centrale (CT)
• Avant droite (FR)
• Surround droite (SR)
• Surround gauche (SL)
• Subwoofer (s'il est raccordé) (SW)
3 Utilisez les boutons JOG + et
JOG – pour ajuster le niveau de
l'enceinte au moment du test de
tonalité.
Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, occupez
votre position d'écoute pendant ce test. Vous
pouvez régler chaque enceinte dans une
gamme de +/–10dB.
4 Une fois l'opération terminée,
appuyez sur TEST TONE pour
désactiver le test de tonalité.
Remarque : Vous pouvez également
ajuster le niveau des canaux sans le test de
tonalité. Dans l'opération 2, sélectionnez
l'enceinte que vous souhaitez ajuster en
appuyant plusieurs fois sur
Ajustez le niveau en utilisant les touches
