Registering a new handset
To enable the use of more than one handset a registration has to be performed.
Every new handset must be registered in order to use the current base unit.
Each base unit can have up to 5 handsets registered.
On registration the handset is allocated a handset number for use on the new
base unit. The handset numbers are 1-5.
Additional handsets can be purchased from your local retailer. See also the
Expanded Systems chapter for more information.
1. Hold down the paging button

for one minute.
2. Scroll to BASE SUB. Press p/
3. Select the number for the desired base unit by pressing the corresponding
keypad button
4. The display shows SEARCHING.
4. The base unit RFPI code is shown. Press p/
5. Enter PIN number (0000 when supplied). Press p/
6. If the registration is successful the handset will return to standby mode in a
few seconds.
