This is normal and will not harm the equipment. When the telephone is installed for the fi rst time, the batteries must be charged for 24 hours before using the telephone. Use DORO original batteries only. The guarantee does not cover any damage caused by installing incorrect batteries. -

The switchover between speaker and microphone is automatic and dependent on the sound level of the incoming call and the microphone respectively.
