Day/Time stamp

The answering machine has a voice function that announces the day of the week
and the time when each message was recorded.
NOTE: The time stamp of the answering machine is independent of the handset time setting.
Setting Day/Time stamp
1. Press and hold H until you hear a short beep, then release the button.
2. "Please set day, Sunday" is announced.

Number of rings

Setting the number of rings
You can select the number of rings (2-9, Toll saver*) before the answering
machine answers incoming calls.
1. Press and hold 2...9/TS button (on the underside of the base unit) until you
hear a short beep and "Please set rings, 6 rings" is announced, then release
the button.
2. Press the

3. Press the 2...9/TS button again to set.
*The TS function (Toll Saver) answers calls after fi ve rings, until a new message has been
recorded, any subsequent calls will be answered after two rings. Once these messages have been
erased the cycle will be repeated. This is useful when remote accessing your unit; if there is no
answer after four rings, then there have been no new messages recorded and you can hang up
before you are charged for the call.
