Remote control

This machine can be remote controlled using the keys of an ordinary tone
dialling telephone. To use remote control, call the answering machine and
enter the remote code after the outgoing message has played. Once the code is
accepted, the following remote control commands are available.
Remote control
1. Call the answering machine.
2. Wait until you hear the beep after the outgoing message. (Note that if OGM
2 has been selected then no beep is heard after the message).
3. Enter the remote code (see previous page), and two beeps will confi rm that
the code was correct.
4. Select a remote control command, see below.
5. Hang up the receiver.

2.......................................... Play/pause messages
3.......................................... Skip to next message
4.......................................... Play the current outgoing message
5 ......................................... Record a new Outgoing Message
6.......................................... Stop
7.......................................... Erase current message
8.......................................... Switch off answering machine
9.......................................... Switch on answering machine/select outgoing
0 (after playback) ................ Erases all messages
#.......................................... Stop/Finish (Press # once to stop playback and

If the machine doesn't respond correctly to the remote control commands, try pressing the
telephone buttons for a longer or shorter time. In normal cases, the answering machine should
react to tones approximately 0.5 – 1 seconds in length, but longer tones may be necessary in
certain telephone networks.
