Registering a new
Diverse 3000 Handset with
the base station
Up to six handsets can be registered and
operated from the Diverse 3016 Classic
base station. The system allows you to
make internal intercom calls between
two handsets while a third is making an
external call.
Each additional handset you purchase
must be registered at the base station.
If you are registering a Diverse 3000
Executive Handset follow the instructions
in the Diverse 3000 Executive Handset
user guide.
To register a Diverse Classic 3000
handset
At the handset:
INT
• Press the
SET
• Press the
INT
• Press the
button. The base station
numbers are displayed.
• Enter the number of the base station
you want

(Enter
for the base station 1 when

registering for the first time. When
registering the handset at additional
base stations, enter
necessary.)
• Press the
OK (
• Enter the base station PIN (original
setting 0000).

The
flashes.
At the base station:
• Press and hold down the button on
the base station (for about 10 seconds)
until you hear the tone.
At the handset:
Display shows the handset numbers
available, eg – 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
N.B. There is a small delay before these
numbers are displayed on the screen.
Select and enter one of these numbers.
This is now the handset's internal
number and it is registered with the
base station. The
