Using your Diverse 3016
Classic answering machine
As soon as the base station has been
connected, your answering machine is
ready for use.
It comes with a pre-recorded message
"Sorry, there is nobody to take your
call at the moment, so please leave your
message after the tone". You can use this
outgoing message or record your own.
As well as recording incoming
messages, your Diverse 3016 lets you
record memos for other users (see
page 25).
You can skip backwards and forwards
through your messages and memos and
delete them individually or all together.
You can operate your answering machine
at the base station, or from a registered
handset or from any external phone
provided it is a TouchTone™ telephone.
You will need to set the date and time
if you want your messages to be
announced with the date and time each
one was received. (See pages 19-20).
