    Diverse 3010 Classic phones with more than one handset connected. As this product is rechargeable, it is normal that a certain amount of heat will be produced in its day-to-day operation.

    Diverse 3010 User Guide 22/3/01 Safety instructions For the handset use only approved nickel-cadmium (NiCad) or nickel- metal hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries. Never use other batteries or conventional alkaline batteries. They could lead to a short circuit or destroy the battery casing. Recommended batteries should have a power rating of at least 600mAh 1.2V.

    Your handset is already “registered” to the Diverse 3010 Classic base station. Plan where you will put your Diverse 3010 Classic. It should be within two metres of a power socket and the phone socket. Plug the power cable into the power socket on the underside of your Diverse 3010 Classic.

    This is to alert you to another caller waiting to speak to you. With BT’s Caller Display and Call Waiting service, your Diverse base station receives caller information which is transmitted over the BT network.

    If in doubt please contact your switchboard supplier. Your Diverse 3010 Classic is pre-set to TONE dialling – you will hear a tone beep each time you dial a number. Tone dialling is suitable for all modern digital exchanges.
