How to Install the Base Using the LATCH System

Important!
for the recommended placement of the infant
seat and for the use and position of anchors.
Install the base with your vehicle
parked on level ground.
1. Take the car seat off the base. To do this,
squeeze together the two handles on the
back of the seat and lift.
2. Position the base rear facing in the
back seat of your vehicle. Check the
level indicator on the side of the base
to make sure the ball is in the green area.
If the ball is not in the green area, turn
the knob left or right until it is in the
green area.
