I Distress relay call

q When receiving a distress relay call, an emergency
alarm sounds and the display below appears.
w Push any key to stop the alarm, if desired.
e Push [ENT] to set the transceiver to the distress
phone frequency, then monitor the communication
from the coast station to the ship in distress.
r Select the received distress call memory channel
to check the position of the ship in distress.
➥ Push [FREQ/CH] then [RX

The distress relay acknowledgement call can be
made only when distress relay call is received.
q After receiving a distress relay call, push
[FREQ/CH] to return to DSC watch mode.
