Remove the fingerprint reader:
1. Position the top cover upside down with the front toward you.
2. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screw (1) that secures the fingerprint reader bracket to the top
cover.
3. Pull the bracket from atop the fingerprint reader board (2).
4. Disengage the cable from adhesive that secures it to top cover (3).
The fingerprint reader bracket is available in the Bracket Kit using spare part number
737734-001.
The fingerprint reader bezel and insert are available in the Plastics Kit using spare part number
733637-001.
5. Lift the fingerprint reader from the top cover (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the fingerprint reader.
