DSS PARK
After answering an incoming call, you can park the call on the DSS so
the call can be answered by any extension.
This eliminates the need to
place a call on hold and then transfer it to the desired extension.

To park a call on the DSS:
1.
Ask the party to wait.
2.
Press the
DSS park
button.

The DSS
park
lamp displays the steady pattern.
- Listen for the dial tone.
3.
You can:
0 Answer another call.
l
Hang up.
l
Page the party for whom the call is parked.
(Give the called party
the park answer number of the parked call.)
NOTE
The park answer number is a three- or four-digit number determined
by
the attendant
form the DSS number (1-16) and the location of the
DSS
park
button on the DSS (01-80).
For example:

1 = DSS number
35 = DSS button to which
DSS park
is assigned
4 digit
Park Answer Number 0135
01 = DSS number
35 = DSS button to which
