This chapter offers some suggestions to solve problems you might encounter. The potential
problems are divided into the following categories.

47.1 Power, Hardware Connections, and LEDs
The MM-7201 does not turn on. None of the LEDs turn on.
1 Make sure the MM-7201 is inserted correctly.
2 Make sure the MS-7206 system is receiving power. If it is not, see the appropriate User's
Guide.
3 Inspect your cables for damage. Contact the vendor to replace any damaged cables.
4 Remove and re-insert the MM-7201 into the MS-7206 chassis.
5 If the problem continues, contact the vendor.
The ALM LED is on.
1 Make sure the fans in the MS-7206 chassis are working. If they are not, see the
appropriate User's Guide.
2 Make sure the MM-7201 is operating within its operating temperature and humidity. If it
is not, move the MS-7206 system to a more suitable environment.
3 If the problem continues, contact the vendor.
