To add a contact to your buddy list:
Press

Select Features > Presence > Buddy Status.

Press the More soft key.

Press the Add soft key.

Enter the number of the contact.

Press the Submit soft key.

You can also delete a contact or dial a contact from your buddy list.
To view and change your privacy list:
Press

Select Features > Presence > Buddy Status > Privacy List.

Scroll through the list to find the contact.

Press the Edit soft key.

Scroll down to the Access field.

Scroll to enable or disable the Access field.

When Access is enabled, you allow the contact to see your presence. When
Access is disabled, you prevent the contact from seeing your presence.
The default for Access is Disabled.
Press the Save soft key.

You can also delete a contact or dial a contact from your privacy list.

or the Microsoft Office Communicator and Windows Messenger
documentation.
Your system administrator can configure your phone to work with Microsoft
Lync Server 2010 and communicate with others using Microsoft Lync. From
your phone, you can invite, join, control, and monitor integrated multipoint
audio and video conferences.
