Managing the indicated problems

If a problem should occur inside the projector, the <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)>, <LAMP> and/or <WARNING> indicators will inform
you. Manage the indicated problems as follow.

Before you take a remedial measure, follow the procedure of switching the power off indicated in "Powering Off the

Remedy Replace the lamp unit.

Contact your dealer for repair services when <LAMP> indicator persists to light after taking these measurements.

WARNING indicator

Indicator Lighting in red.
Status Internal temperature
Is the air intake/exhaust port blocked?

Check Is the room temperature high?
f
Is the air filter unit clogged?
f
Remove any objects that are blocking the air intake/ exhaust port.
f
Install the projector in a location with an ambient temperature of 0 °C
f
(32 °F) to 40 °C (104 °F)
Remedy
Do not use the projector at high altitudes of 2 700 m (8 858

above sea level.
Replace the air filter unit. (

If <WARNING> indicator persists to light or blink after taking these measurements, please contact your dealer for repair

services. Do not leave the projector on. It may cause an electric shock or a fire hazard.
The projector detects an abnormal condition and cannot be turned on. Unplug the AC power cord and plug it again to turn on

the projector. If the projector is turned off again, unplug the AC power cord and contact the dealer or the service center for
service and checkup. Do not leave the projector on. It may cause an electric shock or a fire hazard.
