    Introduction This manual provides information on how to safely operate your 4300 Series Uninterruptible Power System (UPS). This manual includes a section of general safety instructions that describes the warning labels and symbols that are used throughout the manual. Read the manual completely before installing, operating, or performing maintenance on this equipment.

Contact the Toshiba Customer Support Center for assistance in locating the factory authorized personnel nearest you.     Do not remove the fan covers until UPS start up. The fan covers should be removed by factory authorized personnel. Packing materials should be disposed by the appropriate means. • Immediately report any abnormalities to Toshiba Customer Support Center or an authorized representative.     Multiple Battery Cabinets No more than two Toshiba 4300 Battery Cabinets may be connected in parallel to the 4300. DC Backup Source cabinets that are not line up and match may be combined to extend the UPS backup runtime. Typically these cabinets must be connected with either a bus structure or to a single point con- nection outside the UPS.
