Operating Handle/Wire Closing Links Removal And Replacement - Rexel CB345E Service And Parts Manual

SECTION 8 – OPERATING HANDLE / WIRE CLOSING LINKS
MODELS CB405E, WB705E
Removal :-
1. Carry out previous sections where applicable.
2. Unscrew torx screw(s) from operating handle spindle and handle grip on double handle
models.
3. Pull operating handle side arm(s) and wire closing cam, where fitted, from punch operating
spindle.
4. Disengage wire closing links from wire closing mobile jaw, where fitted.
5. Unscrew handle return spring screw to remove handle return spring.
Replacement :-
1. Fit screws to handle bosses.
2. Engage wire closing links on to wire closing mobile jaw where fitted.
3. Slide handle side arm(s) and wire closing cam, where fitted, onto punch operating spindle
checking that handles are engaged onto correct flat of hexagon spindle to give correct angular
movement of handle.
4. Engage wire closing links onto location on handle boss / wire closing cam.
5. Fix handle grip to handle arms and handle arms to spindle by replacing torx head screws.
