Maintaining Your Printer
Over time, toner residue and paper dust accumulate
inside the printer. The following sections explain
how you can remove this buildup to keep your
printer running smoothly. You should perform this
cleaning procedure each time you replace the Toner
Cartridge.
Table 9-1 lists the maintenance procedure applicable
to your printer.
REPLACE OR CHECK
When the Toner Cartridge is almost out of toner, you may
wish to replace it immediately or to redistribute the
remaining toner powder to extend the usage. Refer to the
page on "Redistributing the Toner."
Perform general printer cleaning procedure each time
you replace the Toner Cartridge. (Refer to this section.)
