Jumper Settings

Explanation of Jumpers

To modify the operation of the mother-
board, jumpers can be used to choose
between optional settings. Jumpers create
shorts between two pins to change the
function of the connector. Pin 1 is identified
with a square solder pad on the printed
circuit board.
Note: On two-pin jumpers,
"Closed" means the jumper is on,
and "Open" means the jumper is
off the pins.

Clear CMOS (JBT1)

JBT1 is used to clear the saved system setup configuration stored in the NVRAM in
the SPI Flash chip. To clear the contents of the CMOS, completely shut down the
system, remove the AC power cord and then short JBT1 with a jumper. Remove
the jumper before powering on the system again. This will erase all user settings
and revert everything to their factory-set defaults.
