Printing Information Pages

You can use the Operator Panel to print out important
information pages described below.
PRINT MENU MAP
If you select this item from the Operator Panel menu, under
the Info Menu, the printer will print a page showing the
layout and current settings of the Operator Panel menu
items.
PRINT CONFIG (Printer Configuration)
If you select this item from the Operator Panel menu, under
the Info Menu, the printer will print information about
printer's current configuration.
PRINT PCL FONT List
If you select this item from the Operator Panel menu, under
the PCL Menu, the printer will print a list of resident fonts
available for PCL emulation.
PRINT NET CFG (Printer Network Configuration)
This page is only available if the Network Interface Card is
installed in your printer. If you select this item from the
Operator Panel menu, under the Network Menu, the printer
will print information about the printer's current network
configuration.
PRINT PS FONT List
This page is only available if the PostScript Option is
installed in your printer. If you select this item from the
Operator Panel menu, under the PS Menu, the printer will
print a list of resident fonts available for PostScript
emulation.

The Status Display

The Operator Panel status display is an LCD panel that
shows status messages, media types, and menu selections.
When the printer is performing a job, the Status Display
indicates a printer status message. The standard message
display is , meaning the printer is ready to use. The
READY
tables below list Status, Error and Service messages with
their explanations. See Chapter 10 for information about
getting service and technical support.
Status Messages
Status messages report normal operating conditions. No
action is necessary.
Status Message
Explanation
READY Printer is ready to accept print jobs.
OFFLINE Printer is offline. Press the Go button
to continue the current print job.
INITIAL- Printer is preparing to accept printing
jobs.
IZING
POWER Printer is in Power Save mode. The
printer will return to a normal state
SAVE
when it receives data, a button is
pressed or a tray is pulled out.
Toner Cartridge needs to be replaced
READY
soon.

PRINTING Printer is processing data. PCL is
interpreting the data.
PCL
PRINTING Printer is processing data. PS is
interpreting the data.
PS
CANCEL- Appears when the Cancel button has
been pressed.
