Explanation
This menu item is used to
select the printer's baud
rate (speed at which
information is transferred)
for communicating from
the computer to the
printer.
This menu item is used to
select the method for
generating XONs.
When it is set to ON, the
printer sends an XON
when sufficient buffer
space is available. If the
host does not receive data
within approximately one
second, the printer will
transmit additional XONs
at one second intervals
until the host receives
data.
When it is set to OFF, the
printer sends one XON
when it can accept more
data or when it is online.
The printer does not send
XONs every second while
the printer is online and
ready for more data.
