Required Action
Tray (N) has been removed (where N
is Tray 2 or 3). Insert correct tray.
The wrong toner cartridge has been
placed in the printer. Replace with an
NEC SuperScript 1800 Toner
Cartridge.
The printer received more data than
can fit in its available memory.
Reduce the size of the print job or
upgrade memory.
The data (dense text, rules, raster or
vector graphics) sent to the printer
was too complex. If this occurs, the
printer will automatically try to re-
render the data. If this message
persists you may need to simplify the
print job or install additional memory.
If using a serial connection, this
occurs when the printer encounters
an error while transferring data to the
computer. The printer's baud rate or
parity may not be the same as that of
the computer.
You can find the serial baud rate by
accessing the I/O Menu. See Chapter
5 "Operator Panel."
