make sure you set the squelch correctly. (p. 9)

D Transmitting an Individual call

The Indvdual call functon allows you to transmt a DSC sg-
nal to a specfic shp only.
q Enter "Individual Call" n DSC menu.
DSC Menu ➪ Individual Call
(Push [MENU]) (Rotate [SELECTOR], then push [ENT].)
w Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desred pre-programmed
ndvdual address or "Manual Input," push [ENT].
• The ID code for the Indvdual call can be set n advance. (p. 16)
• When "Manual Input" s selected, set the 9-dgt MMSI ID
code for the ndvdual you wsh to call wth the keypad.
