■ Receiving DSC calls

D Receiving a Distress call

Whle montorng Channel 70 and a dstress call s receved:
➥ The emergency alarm sounds for 2 mnutes after recev-
ng a dstress call from a staton.
• Push [CLR] to stop the alarm.
➥ "Received Distress" appears n the dsplay, then
Channel 16 s automatcally selected.
➥ Contnue montorng Channel 16 as a coast staton may
requre assstance.
