OPERATION

■ Turning power ON
q Push [POWER] to turn the power ON.
• A power-up alert tone sounds for about 1 sec. and an openng
message may appear.
w If the transcever s programmed for a start up passcode,
nput dgt codes as drected by your Dealer.
• The keys n the table below can be used for password nput:
• The transcever detects numbers n the same block as dentcal.
Therefore "01234" and "56789" are the same.

e When the "PASSWORD" ndcaton does not clear after
nputtng 4 dgts, the nput code number may be ncorrect.
Turn power off and start over n ths case.

■ Channel selection
Several types channel selectons are avalable, methods
may dffer accordng to your system set up.
NON-BANK TYPE:
Push [CH UP]/[CH DN] to select the desred operatng
channel, n sequence; or, push one of the [
select a channel drectly.
BANK-TYPE:
[P4]
Push [BANK] to select the desred bank number.

9 AUTOMATIC SCAN TYPE:
Channel settng s not necessary for ths type. When turnng
the power ON, the transcever automatcally starts scannng.
Scannng stops when recevng a call or when takng the
mcrophone off hook.
