EGRO 5511 Manual
HYDRAULIC & STEAM
The Hydraulic & Steam section of this manual details the hydraulic components of the Egro 5511. The
hydraulic components are broken down into three main sections: Coffee Boiler, Steam Boiler, and
Brew Group Assembly.
Coffee Boiler
HOT WATER SOLENOID FITTING
Sends hot water to the mixing chamber when
the hot water solenoid opens.
HOT WATER SOLENOID FITTING
EXPANSION VALVE
Relieves coffee boiler pressure at 11 bars.
Relieved pressure flows into drip tray via
silicon tubing.
EXPANSION VALVE
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Reads the temperature of the water in the boiler.
Sends temperature reading to motherboard.
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
BREW SOLENOID
Located on the bottom of the boiler. 3-way valve.
Waste is connected to drain T-fitting, open goes to
brew group assembly.
