SANsurfer FC HBA Manager Main Window
Adapter icons:

Adapter Port Icons and Text

The FC/CNA HBA tree lists the following information about adapter ports:
Adapter port number: For example, Port n.
(or, for QLE8042 adapters, also FCoE Engine.)
Adapter port alias: User-defined alias name (if assigned). For more
information, see "Displaying Adapter Port Information" in the help system)
Beacon flashing–Flash Adapter Port Beacon: Port LED flashing is
enabled. For more information, see "Finding an Adapter Port" in the help
system.
Adapter status: Indicates status such as bad alarm, loop down, warning
alarm, or good (no alarm). For information about alarms, see "Viewing and
Managing the HBA Event Log" in the help system.
Examples:
Adapter Port Icons:
5-10
Good. No alarm.
Warning. Warning alarm.
Loop Down. No synchronization.
Bad. Bad alarm.
Offline. Adapter on offline host.
Port 0:Marketing's HBA port:Good, Beacon Flashing
Port 3:Loop Down
FCoE Engine
Good
Warning. Warning alarm
Loop Down
Bad. Bad alarm
Offline. Adapter port on offline host
SFP not installed (for 8Gb adapter)
