Setting SANsurfer FC HBA Manager Security

Setting SANsurfer FC HBA Manager Security
SANsurfer FC HBA Manager security ensures that adapter configuration changes
require password authorization. SANsurfer FC HBA Manager prompts for the
password when you change the following:
Adapter parameters
Flash BIOS
Adapter driver
Failover configuration
Persistent configuration data
Port configuration
LUN configuration
Device replacement
Password (when you want it changed)
You can change the SANsurfer FC HBA Manager access password for any host
connected to your system for which you have administrator or root privileges.
NOTE:
The default SANsurfer FC HBA Manager access password is located in the
readme.txt file. To ensure that security is not compromised, change this
password after installation.
To set the tool access password for a host:
1.
In the SANsurfer FC HBA Manager main window FC/CNA HBA tree, select
the host for which you want to set the tool access password.
2.
Click the Security tab. The Security page opens
