Diskette Drive Signal Cable
A two-connector diskette drive signal cable comes attached to the riser board and to the
standard 1.44-MB diskette drive. The colored edge of the cable goes to pin 1 on the riser
board cable connector and pin 1 (the notched end) on the drive connector.
The addition of an optional diskette drive requires the replacement of the existing diskette
drive cable with a three-connector diskette drive cable. Figure 3-20 shows a three-
connector diskette drive signal cable.
