Will not start or hard to start
• No gasoline in fuel tank
Fill tank with gasoline.
• Throttle control not sot properly
Place throttle control in "FAST" position.
• Choked improperly, flooded engine
Move choke control to "RUN" position or place throttle
control in "FAST" posi_on and pull starter several times
to clear out gas.
• Clogged fuel tank
Remove and dean.
• Dirtyair filter
Remove and clean or replace.
Spark plug dirly or improper gap
Clean, adjust gap or replace.
• Loose wiring
Check the widng and spark plug.
• Water in gasoline or old fuel
Drain fuel tank and carburetor, use fresh fuel and replace
spark plug.
• Improper carburetor adjustment
Make necessary adjustments.
Engine
misses or lacks power
• Engine overloaded
Set depth stake and wheels for shallower tilling.
• Clogged fuel tank
Remove and clean.
• Partiallyplugged air cleaner
Remove and clean or replace.
Improper carburetor adjustment
Make necessary adjustments.
• Dirtyair screen
Clean air screen.
• Spark plug dirty, improper gap or wrong type
Replace spark plug and adjust gap

Drain and refill gas tank and carburetor.
