High quality digitaFto-digital copying can be
accomplished if both Palmcorders incorpo-
rate the DV Input/Output (i,LINK) Connec-
tor (DV Interface cable (i.LINK} is not
supplied).

Before you begin -- q
• Gonnect beth Palrncorders to their

power sources. !
• Gonnect the two Palmco_ders using the I
DV Interface cabJe (LLINK)
(4-pin tO 4-pin).
• Turn both Palmcorders ON. /
Insstt a pre-rs_orded tape into the
source (playing) Palmcerder, and set
POWER tO VCR,
Insert a blank tape with the record
tab closed into the target (recording}
Patmcorder and set POWER to VCR,
3 Press I1_(PLAY) on the source
F'almcert_er, When the tape reaches
the point you want to start dubbing,
press I I (PAUSE).
HoId down • (REC) and press
I_ (PLAY) on the target (recording)
Pa}mcorder or on the remote controf
(optional).
Press II (PAUSE) to pause the tape at
the starting p_int of the dub.
Simultaesously, press II (PAUSE) on
both units tO begin dubbing.
Press • (STOP) on the recording
unit, and then press • (STOP) on the
playin 9 unil to end dubbing.

Remote Control (optional) VCR_ or VCR2
setting be used to avoid improper-
operation.
