4. Replace switch
5. let cool. overload will automatically reset. Provide a shaded,
well ventilated area for pump
1. Refer to wiring instructions
2. Check line voltage. Install heavier wiring if wire size is too
small (See Wiring Chart, page 5). Check with power company
3. Check pressure switch. ensure tank is not water-logged
4. Provide a shaded, well ventilated area for pump
1. Refer to wiring instructions
2. Check line voltage. Install heavier wiring if wire size is too
small (See Wiring Chart, page 5). Check with power company
3. Disconnect power. using a flat head screw driver attempt to
rotate motor shaft (located under plastic cap at rear of motor).
If shaft does not rotate freely remove obstruction from
impeller.
4. Set voltage selector switch (Figure 6) to match line voltage.
(See electrical connections page 3)
1. new installation:
a. Re-prime according to instructions
b. Check all connections on suction line
c. Replace foot valve
2. existing installations:
a. Check all connections on suction line and shaft seal
b. lower suction line into water and re-prime. If receding
water level in well exceeds suction lift, a deep well pump is
needed
3. Clean impeller
4. Replace check valve or foot valve
5. thaw pipes. Bury pipe below frost line. Heat pit or pump house
6. Raise foot valve and/or strainer above well bottom
1. Follow instructions in maintenance section (See page 4)
2. Replace tank
3. Move to correct pump opening
4. add or release air as needed
5. locate and repair leak
6. Replace valve
