Your fax has two modes for receiving incoming calls and faxes:
TEL mode: This is the most convenient mode for receiving phone calls. You can
also receive faxes; however, you must answer all calls and start fax reception by
pressing the START key.
FAX mode: Select this mode when you only want to receive faxes on your line.
The fax machine will automatically answer all calls and receive incoming faxes.
Tel/Fax Auto Changeover, a special function for receiving both faxes and voice
calls, also operates in this mode.
Setting the reception mode
