Remove the three screws (C) that secure the left cover to the rear cover.

Release the latches with the right hand while applying opening force with the left hand.
5.
While pulling the left side cover away from the MFP, lift the left cover upwards to disengage it from the
scanner top cover.
6.
Remove the left side cover.
