Configuring the Network Settings

Click [Network Settings] to display the page for configuring the network settings.
This page contains six tabs: [Network Status], [Network Application], [DNS], [Alert Mes-
sages], [SNMP], and [SMTP].

Checking the Network Status

Click the [Network Status] tab on the network settings page to display network in-
formation.

Configuring the Network Settings
Description
Shows the type and speed of the network con-
nection.
Shows the name used to identify the machine
on the network.
Shows the version of the machine's network
module (a part of the machine firmware).
Shows the MAC address of the machine.
Description
Select whether the machine should receive a
dynamic IP address automatically using DH-
CP. To use DHCP, select [Enable]. When en-
abled, the items below cannot be configured.
Enter the IP address for the machine.
Enter the subnet mask of the network.
Enter the IP address of the network gateway.
