1.3 Required Devices

The following devices and software are required to operate this system.
Personal Computer
Operating system
Internal memory
Extended memory
Hard disk drive
Display
FAX modem
RS-232C cable
Note 1:
This system requires ANSI.SYS for screen control, and uses EMS memory. Confirm that the
following commands are in the CONFIG.SYS file. If not, please edit the file to include these
commands.
DEVICE = C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS
DEVICE = C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE

1.4 Connectable Peripheral Equipment

Mouse Microsoft mouse or equivalent
To use a mouse, a mouse driver program is required.

a) Class 1 of AT command.
b) High –speed (at least 2400bps) frame transmission and

c) Able to use software flow control (XON/XOFF).
d) The FAX modem should be connected using one of the
following COM port settings.

e) Special drivers are not needed.
