Measurement

1) Trun the AC power OFF.
2) Carry out the disassembly procedure up to Cover assembly-top, Frame assembly-
scanner, and Unit-printer.
(Refer to the Mechanical Disassembly and Reassembly in Chapter 4.)
3) Connect extension cables to the R51 board.
4) Connect the frequency counter (for clock frequency), digital voltmeter (for power volt-
age) and Oscilloscope (for SIG signal). See figure 5.2.1.
5) Turn AC power ON.
Main power supply is set to "ON" (PC1 ON) by loading the document on the cover-top.
(except +5V SUB)
6) Measurement
7) Turn the AC power OFF.
8) Reverse the disassembly procedures.
