IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU BEGIN!
Before you begin installing the Traveler-mk3 (or
any bus-powered device), take these important
precautionary measures to avoid damaging the
sensitive electrical components in your computer,
the Traveler-mk3 or other devices being
connected:
Turn off the computer.
Turn off the Traveler-mk3's front panel power
switch.
Turn off the power of any other devices.
Touch the metal casing of the Traveler-mk3 to
discharge any static electricity that you may be
carrying just before the installation.
After you have made all of the necessary
connections, as described in this chapter, turn on
the devices in this sequence:
1. Turn on the computer.
2. Turn on the Traveler-mk3.
3. Turn on other devices connected to the
Traveler-mk3.
