Quantum Line Properties
If you select a Quantum board extension and click Line Properties, you'll see the
Quantum Line Properties dialog box.

Configure the following hardware extension-specific features:

Description
Type of Message Waiting indicator for the phone set:
• None
• Voltage—voltage-based indicator (not common
after 1996)
• FSK—Frequency Shift Keying indicator (most
common)
• Tone—tone-based indicator (not common in US
and Canada).
Message format with which to send Caller ID
information:
• None
• SDMF—Single Data Message Format for
supporting and sending a single data type, such
as phone numbers.
• MDMF—Multiple Data Message Format for
supporting and sending multiple data types, such
as name and number information.
Range is 0 to +7 dB.
You can increase the extension phone's talk volume
up to 7dB with this setting. The volume will be higher
for the person on the other end of the line. Default is
0.
Setting this parameter too high may cause voice
distortion.
