3 Conversion: Install Components,
Cover, and Front Bezel
Overview of Conversion to Rack-Optimized
Configuration
To complete the conversion of the NetServer to the rack-optimized configuration,
you will do the following:
Install any additional memory or accessory boards.
Install four lifting handles.
Reorient the control panel.
Install the NetServer in the rack.
Replace the power supply modules and hard disk drives.
Install the chassis retention bracket on an HP rack.
Install the new front bezel.
Reconnect the power cord(s) and external cables.

Install Memory or Accessory Boards

If you plan to install additional memory or an accessory board, refer to the
documentation accompanying the memory or accessory board and install it now.
