Symptom
Cannot start scan job.
Transmission and
reception of e-mail
not possible.
Point to check
Is the telephone cable connected
properly?
Did you install an IP phone on the
machine in a broadband
environment?
Did you change the telephone
network?
Is the [Country Code] setting is
correct?
Point to check
Did you specify other than [Plain]
or [Recycled] in [Media Type]
for the paper tray used for fax
reception?
Point to check
Is the machine turned on?
Is the cable connected to the
machine?
Is there any damage to the cable?
Is the network setting proper?
Is an error occurring?
Did you connect the Ethernet cable
after turning on the machine?
The network connection method
setting is wrong.
Check the connection of the
telephone cable.
Press the <SETTING> key and
select [Admin Setup] > [User
Install] > [Super G3] > [OFF].
Specify the appropriate dial line
type for your region.
Please set the correct country
code.
Specify [Plain] or [Recycled] in
[Media Type] for the paper tray
used for fax reception.
Hold down the power switch for
about a second to turn on the power.
Check the cable connections and
connect them properly.
Change the cable.
Correct the network setting.
Follow the instructions displayed on
the display screen of the machine.
Hold down the power switch for
about a second to turn on the power.
Connect the Ethernet cable and then
hold down the power switch for
about a second to turn on the power.
This product cannot connect to a
wired LAN and wireless LAN at the
same time. To connect to a wired
network, set the network connection
method to wired. To connect to a
wireless network, set the network
connection method to wireless.
