2. Do not discard the screws as you will use them to install the disk drive.
3. You can discard or retain the plastic spacer depending on whether you will use
blanks at a later time in the enclosure.
4. Position the disk drive with the connector towards the rear of the carrier and the
disk drive label on top per the illustration below. There are two sets of mounting
holes on the carrier. Use the four holes that position the connector farthest back on
the carrier. This will ensure the drive will make good connection with the enclosure
midplane.
