The Event Viewer allows you to search for a specific event or a set of events. You
can also save event search criteria for future use. This section provides
information on searching events including:

To search events:
Click the Event Viewer tab.
The Event Viewer window appears.
Choose one of the following options:
If you have previously saved search criteria you wish to use for this search,
a
select Search > Quick Searches from the Search drop-down list box.
If you wish to start a new search, select Search > Edit Search from the

drop-down list box.
The search window appears.
Enter values for the desired filter criteria:
