Importing an Archive

The list of archives includes backup files that exist in the database. If a backup file
is deleted, it is removed from the disk and from the database. Also, the entry is
removed from this list and an audit event is generated to indicate the removal.
If a backup is in progress, a status window appears to indicate the duration of the
current backup, which user/process initiated the backup, and provides you with the
option to cancel the backup.
Each archive file includes the data from the previous day.
The Backup Archives window provides the following information for each backup
archive.

Parameter
Description
Host
Specifies the host that initiated the backup process.
Name
Specifies the name of the backup archive. To view the backup
file, click the name of the backup.
Type
Specifies the type of backup. The options are:
Size
Specifies the size of the archive file.
Time Initiated
Specifies the time that the backup file was created.
Duration
Specifies the time to complete the backup process.
Initialized By
Specifies whether the backup file was created by a user or
through a scheduled process.
To import a STRM Log Management backup archive file:
In the Administration Console, click the System Configuration tab.
The System Configuration panel appears.
Click the Backup Recovery icon.
The Backup Archives window appears.
